The Original Roget’s Dictionary / New Edition (2016)

In this piece, pages from an original dictionary are torn, re arranged in reverse order and re bound. Here, similarly, an inversion or absurdity becomes the order that dictates the process of reconfiguration. These new incongruities, and impossible formations, are distortions that represent an ‘other’ to ‘our’ system of thought. These formations as both orderly and chaotic configurations, become possible new orders.
